General Terms and Conditions

 

 Check-in and check-out

  • Check-in starts at 15:00 and check-out is at 11:00
  • Other times must be agreed with the hotel in advance
  • If needed, our guests can store their luggage in our luggage room before check-in or after check-out

Rooming list / arrival time

  • The hotel must receive a room allocated guest list no later than 14 days before arrival
  • The hotel would like the group’s estimated arrival time, and we ask that this is sent to us no later than 24 hours before check-in

Cancellation

  • The cancellation and payment conditions will be finalized once the room breakdown is confirmed by the client
  • All cancellations and changes must be made in writing
  • If cancellations occur after the stated deadlines, the hotel has the right to charge a late cancellation fee in accordance with the cancellation terms
  • The same conditions apply in the event of:
    • No-show (failure to appear)
    • Services provided by the hotel, but not used due to the group’s late arrival
  • The customer is responsible for covering any additional costs incurred in connection with the cancellation

Payment

  • Method of payment must be confirmed no later than 14 days before the cancellation deadline
  • We can offer the following payment options:
    • Bank transfer: We will send a proforma invoice to be prepaid via bank
    • Card payment: We will send a payment link for online payment
    • Invoice: Offered to corporate customers. To determine whether invoice payment can be approved, we require the company’s organization number and invoicing address
  • For prepayment, payment must be made before the cancellation deadline
  • Payments must be made in Norwegian kroner (NOK)
  • The hotel reserves the right to require a deposit equal to the cost of the booked services as a guarantee for the reservation(s) and payment

Parking

  • The hotel offers a limited number of indoor and outdoor parking spaces. Parking is operated by an external partner, so it is not possible to reserve spaces in advance
  • Parking is paid for either at the parking machine or via the app
  • All parking is at your own risk

Liability for Damage

  • The organiser is responsible for damage negligently caused by participants at the hotel
  • The hotel is not responsible for damage to or loss of valuables that are not stored in the hotel’s safe with receipt

Limitation of Liability / Force Majeure

  • Strike, lockout, fire, failure of delivery, or other circumstances beyond the hotel’s control give the hotel the right to cancel the contract without notice and without liability for compensation
  • Anker Hotel’s liability under the signed contract is limited to Norwegian laws and regulations
